It’s National Hamburger Day
If there is one thing that deserves its own blog post, it’s hamburgers! We absolutely love burgers, we’re pretty much obsessed at this stage. I know what you’re thinking, too much grease, too much fat, too unhealthy, blah blah blah. Let me tell you, they taste good!
My go to is a meaty burger. With bacon, cheese and onions, and a bit of mayo, pickles and lettuce (but never tomato, eww). Kirsty’s go to is pretty much a plain Jane burger in a bun with some cheese and ketchup (booooring).
Our absolute favourite burger place is Byron. Though sadly, there aren’t may of them around any more. Our nearest is about 100 miles away in York. ☹️ They do the most wonderful burgers. It’s like Burger King but on steroids. So if you’re lucky enough to be close to one, or find one on your travels, give it a go. You will not be disappointed.
Burgers are also probably one of the main reasons I’d love to visit America. The food over there looks absolutely insane. I’m a big lad and need food. The US of A seems to be the perfect place for a big lad. I’m trying to be good, but everyone deserves a treat sometimes, right?
Anyway, I’ve waffled on enough (ooh that reminds me, you should try waffle fries too). Do me a favour, order yourself a nice juicy burger and tuck into it while listening to this episode below.
