It’s Spooky Season – Happy Halloween!

I have really mixed emotions when it comes to Halloween. I’m not particularly fond of horror movies, especially the ones that have supernatural elements in them (like the exorcist 🀒).

However, I don’t mind the gory stuff like Saw or The Purge. Though they’re scary in their own right! I could totally imagine scenarios where both of those stories could come true, yikes!

The thing I love most of all though is the season. It’s deep into Autumn when Halloween strikes, and you know what that means right? Hot chocolate and marshmallows in front of the fire! Being all cosy in your Oodie, and setting the world to rights while it’s miserable outside but amazing inside. You just can’t beat that warm fuzzy feeling of being toasty and comfy while it’s horrid outside. Though I must admit I am fond of the rain and prefer it over the sunny weather (don’t hate me).

I remember once a few years ago (it was probably way longer), we were watching this horror movie and it was really creepy. I’m surprised I can’t remember it because the whole situation was traumatising. A crow flew smack bang into our French doors during a particular jumpy scene. To say that I shit myself is an understatement, in that moment, I literally thought my life was over. Never again will I ever watch anything with any supernatural element in it for as long as I shall live. That may be an extreme reaction, but until a possessed crow tries to break through your doors you’ve never known fear. πŸ˜…

So I’ll leave you with that lovely story! Happy Halloween, and why not take a trip down memory lane and listen to our Halloween Special from 2023? Click here to listen on Spotify.
